Road Maintenance

Potholes

Pennsauken Public Works maintains Township-owned roads and will repair potholes.

Not all roads are maintained by Pennsauken Township:

To report a pothole or damaged road surface on a County Road, please contact Camden County Department of Public Works at 856-566-2980.

To report a pothole or damaged road surface on a State Road, please contact New Jersey DOT (Dept. of Transportation) at 856-486-6630.

If you are unsure whether a road falls under Township, State or County, you can refer to the list of State and County Roads.

Street Sweeping

Beginning in 2024, all Township local roads must be swept three (3) times per year, in accordance with the Township’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP). Sweeping occurs during non-freezing weather, typically starting in March and continue until October. Residents are asked to park off the street, if possible.
