SPRING CLEANUP AND NATURE DAY

The Pennsauken Environmental Commission and the Township’s Parks and Recreation Department will be holding a spring clean-up and nature day on Saturday, March 21. Held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., volunteers will be split between two locations: Burrough-Dover House at 9201 Burrough-Dover Ln., and Tippin’s Pond, located at the end of Cove Rd. In addition to the clean-up, kids will also be able to enjoy some fun nature-related activities at both areas.

Registration for the spring clean-up is required at least five days prior to the event. To register, please share the following information by emailing jvazquez@pennsauken.gov or calling 856-665-1000 x1420:

A good phone number and email address to contact you with updates, cancellations, etc.

EASTER EGG HUNT

Easter Egg Hunt Flyer 2026

Held Saturday, March 28th at 10am, At The Walt Nicgorski Sports Complex

Families can barely contain their egg-citement as the town welcomes the Easter Bunny back for Pennsauken’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. Sponsored by Pennsauken Township, Kiddie Junction of Pennsauken, and Tooth Town Pediatric Dentistry, this year’s free egg hunt will take place on Saturday, March 28, 10:00 a.m., at the Walt Nicgorski Sports Complex, located at Powell and Collins avenues. The Easter Egg Hunt is open to children up to age 9.

Children should be at the sports complex no later than 9:45 a.m. The first Easter Egg Hunt will start promptly at 10:00 a.m.; the overall event ends quickly, usually finishing within a half hour. In addition, participants should bring a bag, basket, or other container to store their eggs.

AUTISM AWARENESS EXPO

Autism Awareness Expo quarter graphic 2026

Held Friday, April 24th From 3-7pm, At Eden Gardens

Pennsauken Township is preparing to hold its third annual Autism Awareness Expo, a special event designed to support and empower families with special needs. Held on Friday, April 24, this event will take place at Eden Gardens, 1444 Rt. 73, Pennsauken, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Open to the public, this event aims to shine a light on the challenges faced by individuals with special needs, like autism spectrum disorder, and their families. It also serves as a platform to showcase the various resources available to support these families in their journey.

Several outside organizations will be present, providing information about their services and programs tailored to meet the unique needs of special needs families. In addition, guest speakers will share insights, experiences, and valuable information on navigating the daily challenges these families face.
